Lake Pend Oreille School District Safe Routes to School invites local families to join students nationwide on May 3rd, 2023 for Bike to School Day. Bike to School Day events raise awareness of the need to create safer routes for biking and emphasize the importance of issues such as increasing physical activity among children, biking safety, traffic congestion, and environmental concerns. Bike to School day is a National event.
