Summer Adventures and Entertainment

The days are longer, the sun shines brightly, and the outdoors is beckoning you to take advantage of all the adventures that await. Here in North Idaho, there is so much beauty that surrounds us, and there is no shortage of opportunities to take in nature, whether on land or water. We’re certain our feature article will help spark your next outdoor adventure.

We’ve put together some great stories to share with you in this issue. We say farewell to Bo and Chantel Whitley, as they enter the next chapter after stepping away from S.T.E.P. Training Centre. We put the spotlight on six Honors students who recently graduated from the Music Conservatory of Sandpoint, who have left a lasting mark at MCS, inspiring their instructors, parents and peers through their hard work and dedication to music and theatre arts. And ... It's the biggest party of the year as the Festival at Sandpoint returns with incredible acts you won't want to miss!

We’re also shining a light on some great local businesses! Flip through the pages to discover more about Posie Picnics, Smokesmith Bar-B-Que and Big Toy Condos … and all they have to offer right here in our community.

Summertime in Sandpoint brings with it some wonderful events as well, like the Bonner County Fair, Beerfest, Northwest Winefest, Shakespeare in the Park, the Long Bridge Swim ... and a whole lot more! Check out our calendar of events in this issue for more details and to find more not-to-miss events!

There’s no time like the present to seize the day and make the most of each and every moment and opportunity. Get outside, explore Sandpoint, attend one of the community’s summer events. You’ll be glad you did.
